Michael anticipated his baptism day long before it happened. Weeks before his baptism, he started asking when his baptism would be held. Adam and I were having a difficult time deciding; we knew that most likely some of our family who live far away wouldn't be able to attend and we weren't ready to give up on trying to find a date that more family could attend. Because Michael was so anxious to see it happen, we decided to move forward with a May baptism that most of our family who live nearby could attend.

Adam and Michael dressed in white for the baptism, and Michael listened attentively and seriously while Grandma Carol shared a talk on the gift of the
Holy Ghost, comparing its purposes to tools and their purposes. Grandma and Grandpa Anderson gave Michael a journal with a note written inside the cover encouraging him in his decision. We are glad Michael has such supportive grandparents, and we are so proud of our boy, Michael.
